Join us for a 1-day mens’ event, Cultivating Conversations that Matter
, at First Baptist Church, Rock Hill, SC, on 8/25/18 from 9am-4pm, lunch included.
We will be leading a very practical, interactive workshop that helps guys move from empathetic listening and the awkward feeling of have nothing to offer back but the often hollow, “I’ll pray for you.” or, “You should remember this Scripture promise…” or worse, the temptation to advise, into conversations that matter, deeper than news, weather, and sports, that actually help guys find clarity in their circumstances, hear from God, and walk away with a next step that moves them a bit closer to God and who He created them to be.
It doesn’t take an expert, but it does take a little practice, and a heart for others.
This event is great for any guy wishing to lead a group of men, wants to fight for the hearts of his brothers, or just wants to learn to go deeper with his friends on the Great Adventure of the Christian life. This workshop will equip you to relate to men in a new way.
Reading: You are encouraged to purchase and read The Coach Model for Christian Leaders, by Keith Webb, before arriving at the event.
