Christmas greetings from the New 4RMations Team!
We continue to move forward since our last bonfire in December:
1. Our website, www.new4rmations.com, is nearing completion. If you haven’t, please check it out. It includes a blog with photos of our past events.
2. We’ve filed as a non-profit with the State of South Carolina and are waiting for approval. We will start application to become a 501(c)(3) shortly after the first of the year.
We certainly appreciate your prayers in all of these matters, as well as your continued promotion and participation.
Please see below about some of our upcoming events over the next few months.
Thanks and peace,
The New 4RMations Team
Band of Brothers Workshop: January 9, 2016 from 9am-4pm
Ready to engage your battle to fight, adventure to live, and beauty to rescue? Tired of trying to do it alone? Are you ready for a Band of Brothers? Men desperately need the community of other men in order to stand strong, lead courageously, reject passivity and engage their domains with the power of Jesus Christ.
A Band of Brothers is that community of men. 3-6 men, that have entered covenant together to have each others’ backs, call each other higher in the life available through Jesus, and send each other out to be dangerous for good It is is not what most of us have experienced in a small group, a Bible study, or accountability group; it is about doing life together and embarking on the battle to recover our wounded hearts and reignite our spirit of adventure.
The Band of Brothers Workshop will require the courage to look at your past in a new light, look at your present with a new set of eyes, and look at your future in a new way. We recommend attending this workshop if you ready to lead or participate in a Band of Brothers.
The interactive workshop draws on the teachings of John Eldredge of Ransomed Heart Ministries and Terry Walling of LeaderBreakthru, covering such topics as:
- Born for Battle: Our Place in the Story
- Defining Moments: How God Shapes a Destiny
- Life Messages: How God Shaped Your Destiny
- Wounded in Action: Treaties with the Enemy
- Battle Fronts: Life Domains
- Next Steps: Leading/Participating in a Band of Brothers
Please bring $25 to cover the cost of the event (lunch, drinks, snacks, materials, etc), more if you can, less if you can’t; we don’t want $ stop anyone from coming. Location is TBD.

Spring Adventure: Fishing the Tuckaseegee Retreat: April 8-10, 2016
Act now! Only 5 spots left!
Come fish with us on the Tuckaseegee River in the mountains of western North Carolina (Sylva, NC) for our 2016 Spring Adventure. This is a great place to relax, unwind and restore your heart. Turn off your cell phone and get back in touch with the wild.
This is the fishing trip to end all fishing trips! We have reserved several cabins feet away from the river, which will have been recently loaded with two truckloads of Rainbow, Brown and Brook trout courtesy of NCWRC.
Friday PM, Saturday all day and Sunday until you can’t fish anymore. We will even cook for you, all meals included (except dinner out one night).
These are nice cabins with big porches and a fire pit right out front where we gather each evening for fire time and fellowship.
Fishing experience not necessary, just let us know and we will help you out with gear and instruction!
Cost is $275, but there is an early-bird price of $225 if you pre-register before 2/15/16. You will be responsible for the purchase of your own NC fishing license.
Pre-register below. We will be back in touch shortly after the first of the year with more information and payment arrangements.
